HOUSING THE HOMELESS (FAMILY PROMISE)

March 31 – April 7, 2018

Kol Dorot serves as a host home for several families from our area. We work with Family Promise to provide comfortable accommodations for our guests (turning classrooms into bedrooms), meals, companionship, transportation and a variety of necessities and niceties donated by our members. There will be opportunities to help in various way. As you will see on the sign-up sheet, you can cook/serve dinner, engage in activities with the adults and/or children, help set up beds, shop for supplies and sleep over as an overnight chaperone.

PASSOVER COMMUNITY SEDER

All congregants of TBO, their friends and families are welcome to celebrate the first night of Passover as one community.  We encourage you to bring you family Seder plate. KOL DOROT MEN’S CLUB NIGHT – HOLD ‘EM TOURNAMENT

Our first annual Kol Dorot Poker Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 30th at 7:00pm (1st deal at 8pm) at Temple Beth Or. It’s a great night with beer, food, College Basketball and poker. Most importantly, it’s an excellent way to meet other dads from Kol Dorot (TBO/TBE) while we raise a lot of money for charity. Register online! Or call the temple office.

JEWISH ETHICS CLASS

Every Wednesday at 12:00 pm

Join Rabbi Noah for a weekly explanation of relevant and controversial issues in Jewish ethics. We will take on ethical questions from current events, as well as classic issues in medical ethics, business ethic, and more. Feel Free to bring lunch!
