RICK RUBENS ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE WEEKEND

February 8-10, 2019

 Musicians and spiritual teachers, Rabbi Or and Feliza Zohar visiting from Israel, will join us for Shabbat services introducing original music and teaching about Jewish and Arab co-existence.  We will celebrate Havdalah on Saturday, with a concert of original melodies and stories about how the songs are written and used in Israel.  On Sunday, Rabbi Or and Feliza will hold a special program for our religious school children. Ending their visit, Rabbi Or and Feliza will perform a concert finale with an all youth choir during the Annual Junior Choir Festival being held at Temple Beth Or. You can download the flyer or check the TBO calendar for more detailed information.  There is no charge for Friday’s Shabbat Dinner because of a generous donation from TBO’s Social Club. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend the dinner.

Study polls, campaign ads, breaking news and more.  Discuss the consequences of this election for Israel and the whole Jewish world. JEWISH ETHICS STUDY GROUP

Every Wednesday, 12:00-1:00 pm

Join Rabbi Noah for a weekly exploration of relevant and controversial issues in Jewish ethics.  We will take on ethical questions from current events, as well as classic issues in medical ethics, business ethics, and more  Feel free to bring lunch!

TOT SINGING WITH CANTOR SARAH

Every Tuesday, 10:00-10:45 am

Join Cantor Sarah for a joyful morning of singing, dancing, scarves, playing musical instruments and stories! Each week we will sing both Jewish music as well as favorite secular children’s music.  All families with children from birth through five years old are welcome!  Member and non-member families are welcome.
